These terms and conditions (the “Agreement”) govern your participation in the 加州华裔节-中国文化达人秀邀请赛 (California Chinese Festival – Chinese Culture Talent Show Invitational) (the “Event”) organized by [Event Organizer]. By registering and paying the registration fee of $150, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

Eligibility: 1.1. Participation in the Event is open to individuals of Chinese descent residing in California. 1.2. Participants must be at least 18 years old as of the date of registration. 1.3. Participants must possess the necessary talent and skills related to Chinese culture, as determined by the Event Organizer.

Registration: 2.1. To register for the Event, participants must complete the registration form provided by the Event Organizer. 2.2. Participants must pay the registration fee of $150 in full to complete the registration process. 2.3. Registration fees are non-refundable except as otherwise specified in this Agreement.

Intellectual Property: 3.1. Participants retain ownership of the intellectual property rights in their performance. 3.2. By participating in the Event, participants grant the Event Organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use their performance for promotional and marketing purposes related to the Event, including but not limited to photographs, videos, and recordings.

Conduct and Content: 4.1. Participants must behave in a respectful and professional manner throughout the Event. 4.2. Participants are responsible for their performance content and must ensure it complies with applicable laws and regulations. 4.3. Performance content must not contain any material that is defamatory, offensive, discriminatory, or violates the rights of any third party.

Judging and Prizes: 5.1. The Event will be judged by a panel of experts selected by the Event Organizer. 5.2. The decisions of the judges are final and binding. 5.3. Prizes will be awarded to winners based on the criteria set by the Event Organizer.

Liability: 6.1. Participants acknowledge and understand that participation in the Event involves inherent risks. 6.2. Participants are responsible for their own safety and well-being during the Event. 6.3. The Event Organizer shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage incurred by participants during the Event.

Modification and Cancellation: 7.1. The Event Organizer reserves the right to modify the Event schedule, format, or any other aspect, with or without notice. 7.2. In the event of cancellation by the Event Organizer, registration fees will be refunded to participants.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction: 8.1. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. 8.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of California.
