Margaret Zhao is an award-winning author. Her memoir, Really Enough: A True Story of Tyranny, Courage and Comedy, charts her daunting struggles for survival, freedom and forbidden love.  Her natural sense of humor has led her to be a standup comedian and motivational speaker applauded by audiences of all ages. 

She has been teaching Tai Chi, Qigong, Acupressure Therapy and Holistic Healing for 20 years. Her teaching has greatly benefited the employees of co-operations such as Boeing, Sandia National Laboratories, Google and Thermo Fisher. She has raised funds for many non-profit organizations such as Assistance League, Livermore Bothwell Arts Center, local churches, schools and homeless veterans organizations.

As a passionate advocate for education and health, Margaret has inspired many school students and people of all walks to reach their highest potential by taking up the power of learning.

Betty Farrahi grew up in Iran and immigrated to the United States with her family more than 30 years ago. She has more than 40 years teaching experience in various settings.  She is certified in Reiki energy healing and knowledgeable regarding nutrition, herbs and Chinese healing modalities. She is passionate about learning, teaching and serving others. 

 

An educator by heart, Tynesha Bennett is a self-proclaimed yoga-fanatic, movement-enthusiast and pelvic nerd.  Her own journey in self-healing has ignited a deep passion to create an educational, healing and supportive environment for women to reconnect with themselves.

With a decade of personal yoga experience, Tynesha’s has completed the 20-hour Pelvic Floor Teacher Training and 10+ hour Certification Process with renowned pelvic floor yoga instructor, Leslie Howard.

Tynesha is passionate about finding deep and meaningful connections with the world  around her . 

 

 

Dr. Feng (Frank) Cheng

Dr. Cheng is an avid practitioner and educator of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  In addition to being a California State licensed acupuncturist, Dr. Cheng is a Ph.D. graduate in Electrical Engineering, a BS graduate in Scientific Instrumentation, holds a MS in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is a candidate in the Doctor of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine. 

His areas of expertise include acupuncture and moxibustion, herbal formulas, cupping, herbal heat patches, acupressure, and Tui-Na (therapeutic massage).

Life Renewing Center is honored to have Dr. Cheng as an affiliate and guest lecturer.
